Conures are animated little birds and come in a wide variety of types.  Some have talking capability, and most are very vocal, an important consideration if you have a low tolerance for noise.

Above is a just weaned Sun Conure.  Their brilliant colors make them a very popular choice with many attributes that make a sun conure a fantastic pet. 

Above is a picture of a baby Pionus Parrot.  They are warm and very friendly birds.  They also are very quiet birds, and make a great "apartment" bird.  Your neighbors will love them

Senegal Parrots are generally docile birds with limited talking ability.  Senegals are an excellent bird for apartment living, considering their quiet nature.  The one above is surely a real pet notice how she just lays down and plays dead for her owner.
